hand drawn maps, by Owen Delaney

About Me

Hello and thanks for visiting my website!

My name is Owen Delaney, an artist and illustrator, living in south west London.

I studied Art and History of Art to A-level standard before pursuing a career in IT. The drawing and painting continued in my spare time over the years, and one day my love for running and exploring inspired me to draw a map of a race I finished in Cornwall, The Arc of Attrition.

This sowed the seed, and more maps followed of my experiences on the trails. This led to requests for commissioned work for other runners and event organisers.

The maps have now become another big passion in my life, and I'm constantly working to improve my skills and learn more about traditional and modern cartography. Check out the daily map sketches in my journal - every day in 2018, no days off.

Please get in touch using the form on my contact page if you have any questions, or if you'd like to know more about getting your own adventures immortalised.
